UV disinfection systems for water
UV water disinfection systems are compact and provide a very fast treatment. Ultraviolet light mutates and/or degrades DNA. Once the DNA is damaged, the organism becomes unable to function because its “instructions” are scrambled or missing. An organism without instructions cannot function and reproduce, and cannot cause infection. He becomes harmless and eventually dies.
In UV disinfection systems, water is purified by passing through a stainless steel chamber (also called a “reactor”) that contains a special UV-producing lamp. As the water passes the lamp, the microbes in the water receive a lethal dose of UV light. Viruses, bacteria and protozoa are thus rendered harmless. Moreover, this technology offers a huge benefit in that it does not generate any disinfection by-products, which further protects the environment and aquatic life.
Under normal use conditions:

- – 5 years on stainless steel reactor (materials and welds) except in the presence of a very corrosive environment (brackish or very salty environment, sea water, proximity of acid and corrosive products, use of hydrochloric acid).
- – 2 years for all components except the UV lamp and the quartz sleeve (consumable).

Excluded:
Defects and damage caused by natural wear and tear, external accidents, wrong assembly, improper maintenance, irregular use, inadequate storage, non-respect of the expiration date, intervention by a third party, or modification of the product not provided for or specified by the seller, are excluded from the warranty.

The UV germicidal lamp disinfect the water effectively. This space-saving solution offers protection against leakage, temperature fluctuations, fouling and breakage. A UV disinfection reactor with good UV quartz sleeves can prevent environmental damage permanently.
UV water disinfection systems are designed according to the flow rate, since it is the combination of the contact time in the reactor and the power of the lamp(s) that will guarantee a dose (expressed in millijoules per square centimeter – mJ/cm2) that is necessary and sufficient to eradicate 99.9% of the microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, suspended algae, etc.)

Delivery
Shipping is free for all orders over 1200€ in CE. For any order under 250€, an administration fee of 35€ will be charged. When placing your order, please indicate where you would like delivery to be made.
To benefit from VAT exemption, companies from EC member countries must indicate the company name and VAT number.
Delays
Once the order has been placed, the above-mentioned period runs (excluding weeks 31 to 34 and 51 to 52) from the date of receipt of payment and validation of the project plan (including all the options requested in the case of special needs). As soon as the equipment is ready, it will be shipped to you. Road transport requires an average of one week to set up, it can go up to 3 weeks for a container depending on the destination.

Receipt
Upon receipt of the package, in case of damage or missing, you must do :
- To the carrier: immediate observation and confirmation of reservations by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, within 3 days of receipt of goods.
- To the supplier: complaints about apparent defects or non-conformity of the product delivered with the product ordered or with the delivery note, must be made in writing within 3 days of the arrival of the product.

Returns
Any return of items deemed new by the customer must be made within two weeks of receipt.
Any return of products must be the subject of a formal agreement between the seller and the buyer.
Any product returned without this agreement will be made available to the buyer and will not give rise to a credit note. The costs and risks of the return are always the responsibility of the buyer.*
