The compact coagulation and flocculation unit

The CFC was developed to meet the following criteria:

  • optimized contact times
  • a small footprint

Depending on the contact time required, the tank will be longer or shorter.

With a flexible volume of 1 to 10 m3, it can be assigned to the :

  • neutralization,
  • coagulation
  • flocculation
  • or combine all these steps into one compact package.

We offer this equipment with many options:

  • Choice of fitting positions and diameters
  • 316L stainless steel stirrers in option
  • Choice of stirrer speed

Coagulation and flocculation tanks

We offer our flocculation coagulation tanks in 3 standardized sizes, for volumes from 4 to 12 m3. Theinternal volume allocation is adjustable, as is the speed of rotation for neutralization, coagulation or flocculation.

With their height, the footprint is reduced.

For an outdoor use, the tanks are covered and treated against UV rays to protect them from the sun and bad weather.

Clariflocculator

Many applications require coagulation and/or flocculation upstream of the separation equipment.

Moreover, our lamella clarifiers, proposed in 3 standardized formats (up to 40 m² of projected surface for sanitation and up to 60 m² for drinking water), integrate the following options

  • a coagulation vat
  • a flocculation vat
  • a set of coagulation and flocculation vats.

The stirrer speed will then be set as instructed by you.

Why choose our coagulation and flocculation packages?

To fully understand the criteria below, we should already understand the functioning, the usefulness and the advantages of coagulation flocculation. See our specific chapter on decantation and physico-chemical treatments.

The following points differentiate our tanks from other solutions:

  • Volume allocation: All chemical-physical treatment tanks can be used for one application or divided into several volumes. The purpose is to create a complete treatment process with optimal contact times for neutralization, coagulation or flocculation.
  • Customized equipment:we offer customized physical-chemical treatment tanks, with a choice of
    • Inlet and outlet positioning and diameters
    • supply of stirrers with shafts and propellers in stainless steel 316L
    • stirrer rotation speeds
  • Flow divider: the tanks are equipped with 3 outlets flow divider, suitable to separate the flow to various downstream works or to anticipate a future extension.
  • Corrosion resistance: the tanks are made of polypropylene. This product has the advantage of being extremely corrosion resistant and can accept the full pH range, which is ideal when using chemicals.
  • Internal bypass: when the volume is divided into two compartments, each of them can be isolated separately by an internal bypass device. In this way, it is possible to operate only on one tank while emptying the other, for example.
  • 3 installation modes: The thickness of the polypropylene walls means that the tanks can be installed completely underground, partially underground or simply on a slab.
  • Outdoor use: to save space in the factory, the tanks can be equipped with anti-slip covers and their walls reinforced by an anti-UV treatment
  • Reinforcement of the bottom of the tanks: some very sandy waters have a very important abrasive power. In this case, the reinforcement of the bottom of the tank with a very hard material is recommended.
  • Eco-design: all materials used in our physico-chemical treatment tanks have undergone an environmental assessment and are 100% recyclable
  • Specific industrial applications: triple skin tank, high temperature fluids… Everything is possible, just ask us!
  • Combined: the use of a physical-chemical treatment is usually followed by a solid-liquid separation step. To simplify your projects, we offer combinations with decantation, filtration or flotation.

Some examples of physico-chemical combinations

Order from several suppliers, manage the interfaces between the equipment, the various delivery times, the assembly on site… All this can be avoided with the 1h2o3 handsets.

The physico-chemical treatment of water is largely widespread, whether for potabilization applications or for municipal or industrial sanitation.

Some applications of physical-chemical combinations with other technologies are listed below:

  • Lamellar clarifier: the most common application
  • Filtration: suitable for the treatment of small flocs
  • Flotation: a very common process in the food industry.
