Project Background
During the renovation phase, the industrial site was facing an aging biological filter that had become unable to treat highly loaded effluents. It was necessary to implement a temporary, compact, transportable and high-performance, solution to ensure environmental compliance, maintain layout flexibility throughout the renovation works, and minimize investment in permanent infrastructure.
Objectives
Design and deploy a turnkey, biologically robust and immediately operational solution:
- efficient treatment of carbon, nitrogen (nitrification/denitrification),
- compact clarification via lamellar,
- Quick installation with no impact on production,
- modularity allowing adaptation, displacement or sustainability.
Technical solution
Deployment of an MBBR mobile unit including:
a denitrification compartment (Redox controlled),
a carbon processing compartment,
Three dedicated nitrification compartments for charge stabilization and complete nitrogen removal.
The recirculation of degassed water reinforces denitrification when the loads vary.
For clarification, integration of a compact lamellar decanter, guaranteeing a clear separation of clear water and sludge, with a minimal footprint.
The whole thing is modular, prefabricated, ready to connect, and operational in ≈ 1/2 day.

The DLHE-M is a plug-and-play lamella clarifier, providing efficient clarification within a minimal footprint. Its lamella geometry maximizes the settling surface and ensures a clear separation between clarified water and sludge, even with highly loaded effluents.
In this project, he stabilized the line downstream of the mobile MBBR, secured compliance and simplified sludge management. Prefabricated and transportable, it can be installed in 1/2 day without interrupting the process, and can be moved or made permanent depending on the evolution of the site.
Product Focus — MBBR NH2-2XS L 2 M
The MBBR NH2-2XS L 2 M is a compact, ready-to-plug fluidized bed mobile biological unit integrating three compartments (carbon, nitrification, denitrification) and high-surface media to ensure stable and high-performance biomass. In this project, it allowed for the immediate replacement of the aging bacterial bed, absorbing load variations, securing nitrogen removal, and maintaining compliance throughout the duration of the work, all while providing quick installation and complete flexibility in the field.
